Cretin-Derham Hall Class of 2022 guard Tre Holloman is a soft-spoken young man who makes all his noise on the basketball court.

Holloman is going into his junior year and he continues to gain attention from high-major college programs. The list is starting to grow. Currently, Holloman has offers from Minnesota, Iowa State, Nebraska, Baylor, Iowa, Michigan State, and more.

In fact, the Spartans called Holloman recently one minute after phone calls were allowed, per NCAA recruiting rules. That was at 12:01 a.m.

"(Tom) Izzo (Michigan State head coach) called me and then he asked me how I was doing and like I was one of his first phone calls and it was just positive vibes and then he said he wants me to come down to the campus," said Holloman.

Holloman has had a chance to workout with future NBA players Daniel Oturu and Tre Jones this month. Oturu graduated from Cretin in 2018 and is a former Gopher, while Jones spent his high school career playing for Apple Valley. He then started for two years at Duke. Both are considered top-40 NBA Draft prospects, so it was a great chance for Holloman to expand his game against the best.

"I’m just learning and taking all the advice that I can get from (Tre) Jones and Daniel (Oturu) who’s a big man, who can show me post work and everything," Holloman added.

Holloman was recently ranked among the top-85 Class of 2022 prospects in the country, according to Rivals.
