Canterbury Park mulling options to re-open gates

Canterbury Park is temporarily closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. But, with other horse tracks currently open and racing, the park is looking into all options that could re-open the gates.

Canterbury Park’s media relations director Jeff Maday spoke to KSTP Sports’ Chris Long. Maday spoke about Canterbury’s plan, how the park is looking at the horse racing tracks that are currently open, what the park without fans could look like, how they are trying to get the employees back to work, and what Canterbury’s top priority/plan is to open the park back up.
