Like Father, Like Son: Benilde-St. Margaret’s Caleb Koskie hoping to follow in dad’s footsteps

Every Wednesday at 6:50 p.m. during the school year, we recognize a high school athlete or team with our TRIA Prep Salute. This week’s honoree is Benilde-St. Margaret’s sophomore pitcher / outfielder Caleb Koskie.

If the last name rings a bell, you’re spot on. His dad is former Twins third baseman Corey Koskie.

We spoke with Corey and Caleb before a recent Red Knights practice.

Caleb Koskie is committed to play in college for the Indiana Hoosiers.

Benilde-St. Margaret’s is 16-3 this year, with Caleb a big reason why.
