Burnsville girls hockey beats Rosemount to win Section 3AA title

Burnsville got two goals from Madisyn Krumholz and cruised past Rosemount 6-2 to claim the Section 3AA championship on Wednesday night. Next stop: The AA State Tournament.
Rosemount took an early lead thanks to Madalana Donati, but Burnsville retaliated with the next two goals courtesy of Zoie Dundon and Sami Bowlby.
The Irish tied the game 2-2 at the end of the first period when Anna Shandorf lit the lamp.
The Blaze took the lead for good when Krumholz scored the first of her two goals of the night. Burnsville added two more, including an empty-netter late in the third period.
Burnsville improves to 22-5-1 on the season.
