Boys Hockey: Prior Lake rallies in 3rd to beat Lakeville North

Prior Lake scored three unanswered goals in the third period to pick up a good road win against Lakeville North Saturday afternoon.

Lakeville North opened the scoring in the first period when Tyler Kochevar chipped one in from the doorstep.

It remained 1-0 Panthers until the third period. Will Magnuson’s shot from the blue line got past Panthers goaltender Skylar Vetter and Prior Lake tied it up. Later in the third, Justin Kingery would snipe one top-shelf short side corner to give the Lakers a 2-1 lead. Prior Lake would close it out late in the third when Sam Rice scored on a short-handed breakaway chance.

Prior Lake junior goalie Trevor Boschee made 27 saves and Vetter had the same for Lakeville North.

Prior Lake improved to 8-1-1 this season with the 3-1 win.
