Blaine beats Osseo 14-13 on Senior Day

Blaine survived a last second would-be game winning 32-yard field goal try by Osseo to earn a 14-13 win on Senior Day.
Bengals quarterback A.J. Kaul got off to a fast start connecting with Kallen Tinsen-Jenkins on a 49 yard touchdown pass giving the Bengals an early 7-0 lead in the first quarter.
Osseo’s running game proved to be strong on the afternoon. Owen Dukowitz tied the game at 7-7 with an 18-yard touchdown run.

The Bengals’ special teams stepped up in a big way. Tyler Terry took the ensuing kick off 86-yards for the go ahead touchdown 14-7 in the first quarter.
Osseo’s Devin Williams found the endzone on fourth down from the 1-yard line in the second quarter, but the point after kick was missed and Blaine held on to the 14-13 lead at the half.
Both defenses held strong, neither allowed any points in the second half.
Osseo had the ball last and drove deep into Blaine territory to have a chance at a game-winning 32-yard field goal on the final play of the game, but the kick just missed wide right.
Blaine takes the victory 14-13. Both teams ended the regular season at 4-4 and await the release of the Class 6A playoff seeding.
