Badgers beat 5th-ranked Gophers 4-3 in overtime

The Gophers men’s hockey team lost 4-3 in overtime to the Wisconsin Badgers Friday night in Madison, Wisconsin.

Minnesota built a 2-0 in the first period on goals from Sammy Walker and Blake McLaughlin.

But after battling back and sending the game to overtime, Wisconsin’s Brock Caufield won it for the Badgers with his second goal of the game.
