Minnesota Aurora FC opens inaugural season in 1-1 draw with Green Bay Glory

In front of 5,200 spectators, the Minnesota Aurora FC kicked off their inaugural season and home opener at TCO Stadium in Eagan. The Aurora played to a 1-1 draw against the Green Bay Glory.

Inaugural season/home opener for @MNAuroraFC, and a good crowd too.

All 5,600 seats are expected to be full tonight at TCO Stadium.

Shelby Hopeau scored the first goal in franchise history in the 54th minute, giving the Aurora a 1-0 lead.

Next up for Minnesota Aurora FC is a trip to Kansas next week to take on Kaw Valley FC.
