NCAA board chair says there’s agreement that change is needed in how Division I is run

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The chair of the NCAA board of governors says change in how Division I schools govern themselves is needed, but the real work will come in determining what, exactly, those changes are. Baylor President Linda Livingstone advanced the idea that schools in the four biggest conferences put more resources into their sports and, so, will need more say on some decisions. She said control by the bigger schools of the NCAA’s postseason tournaments, including March Madness, is on the table.
