#5 Blake girls soccer team shuts out Minnehaha, 3-0

The #5 Blake Bears girls soccer team defeated the Minnehaha Academy Redhawks, 3-0, Tuesday evening at Guido Kauls Field. KSTP Sports was there.

Blake kicked off the scoring when senior captain Cate Moe scored off a laser to make it 1-0 Bears about 20 minutes into the game. Later in the first half, Moe again scored for Blake off a beautiful kick to make it 2-0 Blake with only four minutes left in the half.
Blake came out fast in the second, scoring off a kick from senior Amelia Reyes to make it 3-0 Bears just two minutes into the second half.
From that point on, Blake goalies MaKenna Vavrichek and Ellie Morrison were rock-solid to finish off the shutout.
