2023 Gophers football schedule released

Wednesday, the Big Ten Conference announced the University of Minnesota’s 2023 schedule.

The Gophers will open the season on Thursday, Aug. 31, at home against Nebraska before getting into the nonconference schedule. Minnesota will also play Northwestern a week before the Gophers’ final nonconference game.

The schedule features seven home games for Minnesota and five road games.

The full schedule announced Wednesday is below:

Aug. 31 – Nebraska
Sept. 9 – Eastern Michigan
Sept. 16 – at North Carolina
Sept. 23 – at Northwestern
Sept. 30 – Louisiana
Oct. 7 – Michigan
Oct. 21 – at Iowa
Oct. 28 – Michigan State
Nov. 4 – Illinois
Nov. 11 – at Purdue
Nov. 18 – at Ohio State
Nov. 25 – Wisconsin
