2023 Cooper athlete Jaxon Howard already reeling in big-time college offers
Minnesota hasn’t had a 5-star football recruit since OL Seantrel Henderson at Cretin-Derham Hall in 2010. Class of 2023 Robbinsdale Cooper athlete Jaxon Howard is on track to change that.
Howard is up to 29 college offers, including from the Gophers, Penn State, Florida, Georgia, and Oklahoma. Some programs view him as a tight end, while others see a defensive end. He plays both for Cooper, whose head coach is Jaxon’s dad, former VIking Willie Howard.
But it’s another family member that really sparked Jaxon’s football interest: older brother and current North Dakota State WR Phoenix Sproles.
We recently connected with Jaxon, Willie, and Phoenix at a workout session.

One recruiting expert, Tom Lemming, has Jaxon as the No. 1 ranked TE in the 2023 Class.
