#2 ranked Farmington beats Eastview 44-36 in girls basketball

Farmington ranked #2 in Class 4A got all they could handle at Eastview as the Tigers beat the Lightning 44-36 on Friday night. Sophie Hart and teammate Peyton Blandin both had 14 points for Farmington.

After graduation, Hart will be playing her college ball at N.C. State, while Blandin is committed to play for Southwest Minnesota State University.

Eastview (4-5) never trailed by more than six points until late in the game, but Farmington (9-0) never buckled under the slower pace of the game. Farmington beat Eastview in its first match-up 59-40.

Up next, Farmington will host Eagan on Tuesday 2/16, while Eastview travels to Shakopee, also on Tuesday night.
