15 Minnesotans make final NHL Scouting Bureau prospect rankings

Andover defenseman Wyatt Kaiser is the highest-rated among fifteen Minnesota natives who made the National Hockey League Central Scouting Bureau’s final rankings ahead of the 2020 NHL Draft.
It’s uncertain when the draft will take place, as it must first be determined if the NHL can resume the 2019-20 season.
Whenever it’s held, the draft should include a strong representation of Minnesota players.
The NHL Bureau lists 217 players on its list of North American skaters. No Minnesotans made this year’s Bureau’s rating for goalies.

Three players from Faribault’s Shattuck-St Mary’s prep school also made the list – Artem Shlaine, Jackson Kuns and David Ma – but none of the trio are Minnesota natives.
