1-on-1 with Vikings WR Smith-Marsette, DT Richardson

2021 Vikings Training Camp continues on and after a practice this week, we spoke 1-on-1 with rookie WR Ihmir Smith-Marsette and DT Sheldon Richardson. A surprise guest hopped in for a second during our exchange with Richardson.

Richardson played for the Vikings in 2018, producing 4 1/2 sacks and 16 quarterback hits. He played the last two seasons for the Cleveland Browns. The Vikings signed him to a 1-year deal in June after the Browns released him.

Smith-Marsette, a one-time Gophers commitment and former Iowa Hawkeye, was the Vikings’ 5th round pick. In his career at Iowa, the receiver totaled 1,615 yards and 14 touchdowns on 110 catches. He also had 1,520 yards as a kickoff return man and scored two additional touchdowns.
