No. 1 Wayzata boys soccer shutout St. Louis Park

The Wayzata Trojans boys soccer team defeated the St. Louis Park Orioles 2-0 on Saturday afternoon at Oriole Stadium.


Wayzata controlled the ball the majority of the first half, leading to multiple scoring opportunities. Trojan junior midfielder Cole Frazier assisted junior forward Daniel Lyadov for a great goal to put Wayzata up 1-0 with 19:22 left in the first half.

In the second half, the Trojans again dominated possession, again leading to multiple scoring chances. Senior midfielder Ryan Mahabadi setup senior forward Alex Alberti for a goal to give Wayzata the 2-0 lead with 20:18 left in the game. 

Junior Jack Roach got the shutout for Wayzata.
