The first half was played to a 32-32 tie. Maple Grove then came out and hit a three-pointer to begin the second half. But, Eden Prairie, specifically Nia Holloway, then took the game over.

Holloway, a future Minnesota Gopher, scored 14 first-half points and had no signs of slowing down in the second half. In a 40-second stretch, Holloway had a steal that led to a layup, stole the inbound pass that led directly to an Eagle layup, stole the ball on the ensuing Crimson possession, and finished with a layup.

Holloway finished with 26 points, three blocks, and three steals.
