KSTP’s Matt Belanger shines a spotlight on the American Lung Association and the work it does.

Lung cancer is the No. 1 cancer killer of men and women in the U.S. While smoking greatly increases a person’s chance of developing lung cancer, the disease also affects those who’ve never smoked.

The ALA helps fund life-saving research, advocates for clean air and also has done extensive work on COVID-19.
