Victim identified in East Lake Street shooting

The victim who was in serious condition Wednesday after a shooting in Minneapolis died on Thursday and has been identified as Ryan Kane Decker, 46, of St. Cloud.
According to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner, Kane died at the hospital on Thursday from his injuries. Kane died of a gunshot to the head and the manner of death is a homicide.
Victim in serious condition following shooting on East Lake Street
The Minneapolis Police Department responded to a shooting on Wednesday located at the 1700 block of East Lake Street.
According to police, Kane was the only person injured in the shooting.
The incident remains under investigation. More information will be released at a later time.
