Sauk Rapids police ask for help identifying attempted burglary suspect

Police are investigating an attempted burglary that happened early Tuesday morning in Sauk Rapids.

According to Sauk Rapids police, officers were called to a home in the 1200 block of 10th Avenue North at about 6:10 a.m. in regards to an incident that had happened at about 1 a.m.

The homeowner told police there were loud noises at about 1 a.m. and home surveillance cameras showed a man forcefully kicking the front door. Police said the homeowner’s vehicle was also entered and property was pulled out and tossed around.

Police provide an image of the suspect, which cant be seen above.
