Police: 2 injured in downtown Minneapolis shooting
The Minneapolis Police Department is investigating a shooting after two people went to the hospital with gunshot wounds in the early morning hours on Sunday.
According to police, officers responded at about 2:36 a.m. to the 100 block of North Fourth Street on a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found a man in his 20s suffering from a gunshot wound.
The man was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center with injuries not considered to be life-threatening.
About an hour later, police learned of another man in his 20s arriving at North Memorial Hospital with a gunshot wound not considered to be life-threatening.
Both men were unable to provide much information on what happened.
Police are investigating.
