Pickup driver killed in Polk County rollover crash

The driver of a pickup truck was killed following a rollover crash on Sunday afternoon in Polk County.

Dispatch got a call reporting a crash on 220th Street, north of 10th Avenue, in the town of Farmington, Wisconsin, at 4:14 p.m.

According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, the driver of a Ford F-350 lost control while going up a slight incline on a hill and started sliding sideways. The truck went into the ditch and rolled at least two times before coming to a rest.

First responders tried lifesaving measures, but the driver died at the scene. The person was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, officials say.

The name of the victim will be released at a later time. No one else was injured. The Polk County Sheriff’s Office investigating the crash.
