MNsure offering special enrollment period for newly eligible Minnesotans due to decrease in income

MNsure announced Tuesday that it is now offering an ongoing special enrollment period for Minnesotans who experience a decrease in income and become newly eligible for advanced premium tax credits.

According to MNsure, those looking to enroll will need to have had health insurance that met the standards in the Affordable Care Act for at least one day in the 60 days immediately before their decrease in income. You then need to act within 60 days after experiencing the decrease in income to be eligible.

Minnesotans who have recently lost or will lose insurance through their employer may also qualify for a special enrollment period through MNsure.
