2 suspects in custody after victim found shot in head in Farmington

A person has suffered what appears to be life-threatening injuries following a shooting Friday afternoon in Farmington.

According to a release from the Farmington Police Department, at around 12:49 p.m. Friday, Farmington police were dispatched to a gun pointing incident. Once at the scene, police discovered a victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.

The victim was treated by first responders and transported to the hospital with apparent life-threatening injuries.

Two suspects were taken into custody, and there does not appear to be a continued danger to the public, police said.
