2 injured in separate Minneapolis shootings

Police say two victims were hurt in separate shootings Sunday in Minneapolis.

According to Minneapolis Police Department spokesman John Elder, the first shooting happened early Sunday evening on the 5100 block of Bryant Avenue North.

Police say a female suspect shot a male victim in what was believed to be a domestic incident. The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries, Elder said.

Later in the evening, police found a shooting victim near the intersection of West Lake Street and Bryant Avenue South. Elder said the shooting happened elsewhere and police are working to determine the exact location.

The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

No other information was immediately available.
