1 injured in Minneapolis shooting; no one in custody
A man is in the hospital after suffering multiple gunshot wounds Saturday afternoon in north Minneapolis.
According to the Minneapolis Police Department, at 1:29 p.m., police responded to a report of shots fired in the area of 36th Avenue North and Lyndale Avenue. While en route, it was advised it was a confirmed shooting.
Officers arrive and located a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Officers performed emergency aid, including applying a tourniquet. The victim was transported to an area hospital in critical condition. Police say his injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.
Police said no one is in custody.
