Warm weather continues into the weekend
Warm temperatures are expected to continue through the weekend before a hot streak next week.
According to KSTP Meterologist Jonathan Yuhas, temperatures are expected to peak at 70 degrees Friday with sunny to partly cloudy skies in the Twin Cities. A low of 53 degrees is forecast overnight Friday before we warm up back to 70 degrees Saturday.
With the warmth Saturday comes the expectation of some showers. A cloud sun mix is forecast during the morning Saturday before rain and thunderstorms develop in the afternoon.
Tuesday is when the heat really begins as temperatures are expected to hit 86 degrees with sunny skies.
