Warm and humid start to the weekend with storms possible at night

A warm and humid day is expected Friday with storms possible Friday night into Saturday morning.

According to KSTP Meteorologist Jonathan Yuhas, Thursday will end with partly cloudy skies and isolated thunderstorms overnight with a low of 65 degrees.

On Friday showers are expected to continue until 8 a.m. followed by partly cloudy skies and a high of 85 degrees with more humidity. After 10 p.m. Friday some thunderstorms could develop, and some could be severe.

Saturday brings more warmth with a high of 85 degrees with high humidity and a low of 71 degrees. Early morning thunderstorms are possible before clearing up into a partly cloudy sky during the afternoon.

High temperatures in the Twin Cities are forecast to stay in the mid to high 80s throughout next week.
