UPDATE: Tornado warning for Sibley, Nicollet counties has expired

UPDATE: The tornado warning has expired.
A tornado warning has been issued Saturday evening for parts of Sibley and Nicollet counties.
According to the national weather service, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was over Lafayette moving east. A funnel cloud had also been seen by storm spotters.
The alert is set to expire at 7:45 p.m. and covers areas of south-central Sibley County and north-central Nicollet counties.
