Unseasonable cold expected into next week

The unseasonable cold is expected to continue through the weekend and into next week.
According to KSTP Meteorologist Jonathan Yuhas, the high temperature Friday is only expected to hit 51 degrees with sunny to partly sunny skies and a bit of wind. Patchy frost is expected overnight.

Saturday will be slightly warmer with a high of 58 degrees. However, rain is expected in the evening, which could turn to some snow or slush as the temperature drops close to freezing.
Temperatures will not reach the average high for this time of year until Wednesday, when the high temperature is expected to hit 65 degrees.
