Temperatures expected to drop starting Monday

It’s Groundhog Day and Phil the Groundhog in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, did not see his shadow, which means early spring, according to folklore.

Sunday is expected to continue to have some more sun and be partly cloudy with a high of 46 degrees and a low of 26 degrees, according to KSTP meteorologist Jonathan Yuhas.

Yuhas also stated, as the Sunday night becomes colder, it will also continue into the next week with Monday being the high of 30 degrees and a low of 17 degrees.

After Monday, the temperatures are expected to be in the low to mid 20’s and the low is expected to be in the single digits for a few of the days next week.
