Temperature hits 60 degrees at MSP for first time in 141 days

It’s official: We have our first 60-degree day of 2020.

The temperature hit 60 degrees around 5 p.m. Sunday at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, according to the National Weather Service. It’s the first time the temperature broke 60 since Oct. 20 — 141 days ago.

In 2019, it didn’t reach 60 degrees until March 27. Perhaps Punxsutawney Phil right about a shortened winter after all.
