Sunny, cold Christmas Day expected

Christmas Day on Friday looks to be a pretty decent day, for this time of year.

KSTP Meteorologist Sam Ryan said it’ll be a cold day, although not as bad as Thursday. High temperatures will reach 20 degrees.

Southwest winds of 5-10 mph will remain throughout the day.

After some morning sunshine, skies will become partly cloudy in the afternoon.

Looking at the rest of the weekend, it looks to be more of the same with highs both Saturday and Sunday in the mid 20s.

Sunday also brings another chance for some light snow.
