Sunny, breezy Sunday ahead

The recent streak of pleasant weather will continue into Sunday in the Twin Cities, according to KSTP Meteorologist Nicole Mitchell.

Sunday looks to be sunny with a high of 79 and a low of 62, Mitchell said. Expect some wind, with gusts reaching 35 mph.

There’s a chance for rain and storms Sunday night and into Monday morning, but we’re more likely to see storms toward the middle of the week.

We’ll have a hot and humid start to the week with a high of 86 on Monday before highs in the mid-90s on Tuesday and Wednesday.
