Snow showers, blustery wind expected Thursday in Minnesota
Thursday will demonstrate how changeable weather is during spring in Minnesota.
Chief Morning Meteorologist Ken Barlow said wind gusts between 35-40 miles per hour are expected along with temperatures in the 30s.
Barlow said gathering clouds will produce snow showers throughout the state, with some accumulation likely.
The National Weather Service has issued alerts for multiple counties in Minnesota, warning of decreased visibility and slick spots on state roads.
Looking ahead, Barlow said Friday is expected to be calmer, with temperatures in the 50s and some sunshine.
Additional snow and rain are expected this weekend.
