Smoke from damaged Minneapolis buildings captured on radar

Smoke from damaged buildings in south Minneapolis appeared on radar Thursday morning, according to KSTP Chief Morning Meteorologist Ken Barlow.

A number of buildings near Lake Street and Hiawatha Avenue were damaged or set on fire Wednesday night and Thursday morning as a response to the death of George Floyd.

The smoke could be seen traveling through south Minneapolis and into the south metro.
