Slightly cooler Thursday, storms possible

Following a couple of hot days, Thursday will bring some slightly cooler weather but a chance for storms.

KSTP Chief Meteorologist Dave Dahl said Thursday will top out around 86 degrees with a low in the upper 60s.

However, a cool front will move through late in the day, creating the chance for some strong thunderstorms.

That front is expected to stall over the state, and the chance for storms will last through the weekend.
