If the thunderstorms missed you on Saturday, some rain could be headed your way on Sunday.

According to KSTP Meteorologist Sam Ryan, there are chances for severe thunderstorms around Minnesota on Sunday. In the early morning hours, storms will be drifting to the north of the Twin Cities, and another wave of storms is projected to start rolling through the metro just before noon.

The risk of storms Sunday is spurred by hot and humid weather; expect a high around 88. That humidity will be less present starting Monday, and we’ll have comfortable weather in the low 80s through the middle of the week, Ryan said.
