Scattered showers and thunderstorms in store Friday

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected around the Twin Cities Friday.
According to KSTP Meteorologist Jonathan Yuhas, the chance for scattered showers is 90%.
While the temperature won’t be as cool as weeks prior, it won’t be quite as warm as earlier in the week with a high of 57 degrees.

The weekend is expected to bring back some of the warmer weather with a mixed chance of rain on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday’s high temperature is 64 degrees with a low of 44 and a 50% chance of showers. A mix of sun and rain will be present throughout the day.
Sunday will be partly cloudy with a high of 66 degrees. The chance for a late afternoon rain shower stands at 20%.
