There won’t be many good chances to have a grill-out the rest of this Memorial Day weekend.
We’ll have some scattered showers on Sunday, and there’s a chance for some strong storms in the mix as well, according to KSTP Meteorologist Nicole Mitchell. Most of southern Minnesota is at a marginal risk for hail and high winds.

Then overnight Sunday and into Monday morning, the rain will start to get a little more consistent — there’s a 90% chance of rain on Memorial Day, Mitchell said.
There will be some chances for spotty precipitation on Tuesday, and the rest of the week looks to be relatively dry, Mitchell said.
Sunday also marks a return to warmer temperatures. The high is projected around 78 degrees, and we’ll see more highs in the high 70s to low 80s throughout the week.
