After bursts of heavy snow and gusty winds Thursday, Friday will be a big improvement in weather conditions.

KSTP Chief Meteorologist Dave Dahl said we’ll have a mix of sun and clouds with high temperatures rising to about 50 degrees, but enjoy that while you can.

This weekend, Dahl said more clouds and precipitation are expected, and starting Sunday, temperatures will top out in the 40s again for several days.

Stronger winds like we had Thursday will also return, along with more precipitation.

The mix of rain and snow will worsen areas where flooding is a concern, although not much accumulation is expected.
