More cold, plenty of sunshine Thursday but warmer weather ahead

We’re in for another cold but sunny day Thursday in the Twin Cities.
KSTP Chief Meteorologist Dave Dahl said Thursday will be similar to Wednesday, with high temps topping out at around 18 degrees and plenty of sunshine.
While Wednesday’s and Thursday’s temps were below average for this time of the year, warmer weather is on the way.
Temps Friday will jump close to 40 and will reach the 40s over the weekend.
