Minor flooding expected in north-central Minnesota

Minor flooding due to heavy rain was expected Friday in north-central Minnesota.
According to a National Weather Service (NWS) alert, heavy rain fell in parts of Benton, Isanti, Mille Lacs, Sherburne, Stearns and Wright counties, contributing to minor street flooding.
The NWS advised drivers to avoid flooded roads.
Meanwhile, the rain temporarily detoured some buses in St. Cloud.
According to a St. Cloud Metro Bus post, routes were expected to return to normal once flooding receded.
