Mild temperatures expected through midweek

Mild high temperatures are expected through midweek for the metro area.
According to KSTP Chief Meteorologist Dave Dahl, the jet stream has dipped south over the upper Midwest which will keep high temperatures a bit below normal, only into the mid-70-degree range.

A few showers are possible Tuesday afternoon however dry weather for the most part is expected to accompany the mild temperature.
Come Thursday, a warm front is forecast to move into the area making high temperatures rise into the mid-80s. Scattered thunderstorms could come Thursday night into Friday with the warmer weather.
