Hot and sunny weekend ahead

A hot and sunny weekend is expected for the Twin Cities.

According to KSTP Meteorologist Jonathan Yuhas, Saturday should see a high of 87 degrees and a low of 67 with mainly sunny skies throughout the day in the metro.

Sunday will see us hit 90 degrees with some humidity and a hazy sun. Thunderstorms are possible in the late evening, however, the chance currently stands at 20%.

Heading into the next week, temperatures will remain high, as will humidity, and thunderstorms will be scattered throughout the week. A high of 90 degrees is forecast for five of the next seven days.
