Heat wave continues as storm chances increase

The heatwave that Minnesota has been experiencing is expected to continue through the rest of this week into next week according to KSTP Chief Meteorologist Dave Dahl.
Minnesota averages 11 days of 90-degree weather every summer, so far this year we’ve hit nine days with more expected through the next week.
Wednesday’s high temperature is expected to hit 92 degrees with a slight chance of thunderstorms late at night.
Come Thursday the high will be 88 degrees with a 60% chance of rain and thunderstorms throughout the day.
High-80 degree temperatures and sun are expected throughout the weekend.
