After picking up several inches of snow during the weekend, the metro area will see some dense fog Monday morning.
Chief Morning Meteorologist Ken Barlow said the freezing fog developed overnight and will affect the early part of the morning commute.
The National Weather Service issued a weather advisory, stating visibility will drop significantly due to the areas of dense fog in dozens of counties. According to the NWS, visibility will be at, or less than, a quarter of a mile.
Then, Barlow said temperatures will rise into the 20s Monday afternoon and again on Tuesday, with sunshine expected Tuesday.
