Thunderstorms, some potentially severe, are expected in the Twin Cities late Thursday night into Friday.
Meteorologist Jonathan Yuhas said those storms could include damaging winds, hail and heavy rainfall.
Yuhas said remains of Hurricane Laura could enhance rainfall over the Twin Cities and southern Minnesota Friday morning, which could lead to some flooding, particularly in areas south of a line from Marshall to Winona.
Then, this weekend, Yuhas said a cool front will bring less humid conditions into the state and another storm system could form late Sunday into Monday.
