A break from the heavy rain is ahead for Friday, but there is a high probability some storms will roll through the Twin Cities in the coming days.

According to KSTP Meteorologist Jonathan Yuhas, we’ll have some calmer weather on Friday once the rain subsides around 4 a.m. It will be cloudy and humid with a high of 83, but no precipitation is expected until the weekend.

There are chances for scattered storms starting Saturday and lasting through Monday, Yuhas said. High temperatures will remain the low 80s through Tuesday.
