Hopefully, you got out to enjoy the sunshine on Friday because there is some glum weather ahead, including a Minnesota classic: mid-April snowfall.

With a high in the low 50s, Saturday looks to be about as warm as it gets for the next week, KSTP Meteorologist Jonathan Yuhas said. We’ll have some glimpses of sun Saturday morning, but after that expect lots of clouds and potential evening rain showers.

Temperatures are set to drop into the 30s overnight Saturday into Sunday, and some afternoon rain will likely turn into sleet and snow as the air continues to get colder, Yuhas said. The Twin Cities could see 1-2 inches of snow accumulation by Monday morning.
